How to Add a Device in the DMSS App

Step 1: Log In

• Open the DMSS app.

• Log in using your email, Google, or Facebook account.

• (Skip this step if you are already logged in.)

Step 2: Add a Device

• Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner of the home screen.

Step 3: Scan QR Code or Enter Serial Number

• Use your phone to scan the device’s QR code (usually on the back or packaging).

• Or manually enter the device’s Serial Number (SN).

• If prompted, allow access to your camera and local network for scanning.

Step 4: Select Device Type

• Choose the appropriate category for your device, such as:

  • Wired NVR

  • Wireless Camera

  • Door Station, etc.

Step 5: Follow On-Screen Instructions

• Complete the guided setup, which may include:

  • Naming the device

  • Connecting to Wi-Fi (for wireless models)

  • Confirming or setting the device password

Step 6: Complete Setup

• Once added successfully, your device will appear on the DMSS app’s home screen.

• Tap the device to:

  • View live video

  • Play back recordings

  • Access device settings
