What is Point-to-Multipoint?

Point-to-MultiPoint means one Host connects to multiple Clients wirelessly. This works great where buildings are in line of sight, like connecting barns to a main house on a farm.

No cables needed. Just put the Host at the main house and the Clients at each barn.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Set Up the Host (H) Unit

  • Open a web browser and go to: 192.168.1.150

  • Log in with the password: gigawave

  • Set the WiFi name (SSID) to: GigaAP

  • Set the WiFi password to: gigawave

  • Save and apply the settings

2. Set Up the Client (C) Units

For each Client unit:

  • Open the web interface

  • Go to Repeater Settings

  • Make sure P2P Mode is OFF

  • Check Lock to AP

  • Click Scan and find GigaAP

  • Select GigaAP and enter the password: gigawave

  • Click Apply

  • Repeat for all Client units

What Does It Do?

  • Clients connect to GigaAP automatically

  • Host allows multiple Clients to connect at once

  • Creates a simple, wireless network between all units
